I currently volunteer for Women in Transportation (WTS) Puget Sound supporting graphic design.

I previously volunteered and served on boards for the following organizations in Vermont:

LEADERSHIP

  • Fellowship with the New Leaders Council Vermont Chapter (November 2021 - June 2022): In this Fellowship Program, we learned how to incorporate our values into social movements, community collaboration, and social and political change that culminated with a capstone project.

  • Center for Health Care Strategies - Vermont Agency of Human Services Leadership Academy (September 2020 - May 2021): Completed a leadership development program where participants are empowered to (1) drive collaboration, programmatic change, and streamline policies and programs to improve results and better serve Vermonters; (2) build a deeper understanding of the Agency of Human Services‘ mission, strategic priorities and key strategies; (3) use levers for driving cross-functional alignment and transformational change; and (4) foster peer relationships and connections across the Agency.

  • Emerge Vermont Bootcamp Training (February 2020): Emerge Vermont recruits, trains, and provides a powerful network to Democratic women who want to run for office. The Bootcamp training was a weekend training to help advance campaigning skills.

Policy Panel Discussion

About the Panel Discussion:
Rep. Emma Mulvaney-Stanak hosted a state and federal policy discussion on July 21, 2022. The panel discussion included leaders in gun safety and violence prevention. We explored Vermont and federal gun policy and what legislative changes are possible to strengthen gun sales, possession and safety as well as larger community safety concerns. We also discussed how easy access to guns impacts several parts of our community: community safety, school safety, mental health crisis/suicide, and hate crimes. Watch the panel discussion.

HELPED pass comprehensive gun safety bill in Vermont

January 2022

Our state needs meaningful, comprehensive gun safety reform, and this bill is a crucial step in the right direction,” said Allie Breyer, a volunteer with the Vermont chapter of Moms Demand Action.

“Keeping guns out of the hands of domestic abusers and others with dangerous histories saves lives. This bill will strengthen protections for vulnerable Vermonters and keep our communities safe.
